If you click on the link "Holiday Extra Credit" you will be taken to a folder with lots of extra credit. To receive the EC you must complete the assignment with work to get any credit. You must complete at least one EC from each unit (2B-2D) before doing another from that section. If you do it all your CRAZY....good that is. I don't expect or want you to do all of the EC, I want you to pick EC based on topics that you need review or struggle with currently. Each EC will be worth 4pts each. If you complete one from all three sections then the EC will count for 5pts each. It benefits you to complete one from each unit. I will provide the answers after you return to class. Oh! your window of opportunity is limited. I am closing the link when we return from break. All EC is due the day we return to class on wednesday the 2nd! No exceptions. Now you can't say I don't ever give you anything...M

I talked about this question in class today, but I wanted to make sure that you look it over one more time, wink wink! There definately be something similar to this on tomorrows quiz. You can find a similar question in the notes from 10.8 to help you out. I am going to send the link to the book answers one more time tonight so you can do and the check out the CORRECT answer to see how you did. Also, there's a good chance you don't need to worry about memorizing the Q.F. :) Mr. Hallam I posted videos (under the "Unit 2" button at the left) for solving quadratics through graphing, factoring, and quadratic formula (the second picture below . I have also posted the answers (first picture below) to the worksheets from the unit. Everything you need for the unit quiz is available. Study hard and use that link I sent you to check your homework answers....it's one of the best ways to study for quizzes.
Mr. Hallam I added videos to the unit 2 tab under unit 2C review material at the bottom of the page. There are video's on how to graph in vertex and standard form, as well as how to find max, min, and vertex on the calcultor. Not to mention the Quadratic formula song so you can memorize the Q.F. for the quiz. You can thank Julian and Brandon for requesting this material being added. If it wasn't for them then I wouldn't have added it :)
