Sorry guys and gals in the RT Algebra 1 class, I thought that I posted these answers during the school day. Just found out that I didn't post them at all. Well I can say better late then never and now they are posted. Just scroll over the Unit 1 tab at the left and click on the review answers that pops out that there you go. Chances of more than 3 of you getting this is slim, but I would do this if only one of you checked my website for the answers.
Mr. Hallam Well after a long break and a few weeks with the Bogoff-n-ator I'm back! Good or bad you have to deal with me again (well except 1st hour, you still get to work with the "B-man".
The site is lightly updated and a few new additions, nothing that you'll probably notice but things should work a little better for you now. First I add all the units from Algebra for the entire year. These apply to all my classes even the re-tred. Second I added an extensive YouTube support/review playlist. Really this are a collection of videos that I have been accumulating to help you through the course. Unit 4 & 5 are complete, titled, and correspond to each section of notes that we will cover. That means that if you get home and realize that you didn't quite get what we did in class that day you can review by watching the accompanying video. Ok, ok, it's not me but the guy does a really good job and really I wouldn't give you anything that I didn't watch and support. These are not additional they follow the notes almost exactly. Units 1 & 2 have the materials that I found previously. I have not completed the playlist for them yet. However there are videos and many supportive material that will be very helpful for you. Finally, I added something that I have been cooking up this year called Calculator University (CU). It's still in it's infancy, but it is still functional. When it's done you will have a course of videos instructing you on how to work your TI-83 and 84 calculator. Everything from turning it on to graphing, and running function regressions. After each video will be a quiz for you to take (not there yet). When you pass each section you will either receive extra credit or assignment points...I haven't decided yet. Right now it is at it's basic a very good YouTube playlist of all the functions of the TI that you will need for my class. Well enjoy the additions and updates and we will see you soon have a good break Mr. Hallam If you go to my resources tab I added a link to Mr. Bogoff's weebly website...just in case you had a hard time finding it.
Mr. Hallam I gave the 'ol site good spring cleaning...eventhough it's not spring. For everyone, even if you have been here before, you should start by going to the "Start here!" tab and signing up again for all of the services (especially Remind101 because I deleted everyone from first semester) Most things are the same just moved around and reorganized a bit.
See you se Unit 2 Review Answers are posted on tabs to the left. Remember that the review has to be complete, every answer with work, to receive the 5% extra credit on the test tomorrow.
Also I am going to give all of you the Quadratic Formula, vertex from, and standard form on the board....how nice of me. However I am not going to give any other formulas like, LOS, discriminate (kinda if you know what I mean), "a" value, etc...Sorry your on your own for that. Additionally, I want to remind you that your calculator can be used on all of the test and can be very useful to check or find answers...if you know how to use it. That being said we cannot help you operate your calculator during the test. If you have any questions, calculator or other, make sure you get to school before it starts tomorrow. Ask all the questions you want because there will be no time during the ho Posted the unit 2 assessment review. It can be found just to your left. Get started as soon as you can there are a lot of questions for y
Found a couple of videos (picture only below, you must go the "unit 2" tab at the bottom of the page to accethat may be helpful for you review. There are two videos about changing forms and one about deciding if the functions are linear, quadratic, or neither.
